Let’s face it. We all knew Arctic Circle was a lonely old powder keg down there in Georgetown, teetering toward its own destruction even as no one paid attention, because . . . you know, Georgetown’s kind of far away, right? And finally, some spark or another has set things off, and we’re breaking up like the fireworks we didn’t set off on the 4th of July because . . . we don’t believe in that shit, right?
BANG!
In one last brief flash of light on Friday, November 20th at 8 PM, come to 6633 Ellis Ave S for:
World History (message to land-dwellers: sing along)
Witches of . . . . (hit hard and fast)
Silhouettes (the humid breath of basking buzzards)
The Subtle Knife (for a limited engagement, related to Traitor)
Afterwards, the wind carries our embers in a few directions, all away from Georgetown. A piece lands in an organic farm in the southwest, some land on a boat and then gesture (far) south, a few more gather in the Central District. The breeze whispers rumors that we may still have a few sparks left in us, so don’t mourn. Party.
