We don’t normally post about things going on outside of Seattle, but maybe we should start giving some shout-outs to some regional DIY fun? Here’s a great one: a festival in celebration of efforts to create a supportive and safer community for women, transfolks, and generqueer people, with workshops and performances by regional notables! If you plan on attending or participating you should be sure to read about their values and how you can support them in ways that they want to be supported, or just come to the evening shows at the Studio on November 20th (8 PM) and 21st (9 PM) and at Rainy Day Records on the 21st (1:30-4:30 PM). The Saturday Rainy Day Records show has been moved to Last Word Books, just around the corner on 4th Ave. Same time, same performers, even more awesomeness.
